Galapagos La Tortuga - January 2022
The first week of January 2022 brought in many new coffees. I believe it was a total of six new offerings at the Roastery in Seattle: Guatemala Santa Clara Estate, Ethiopia Gera Farm, Jamaica Blue Mountain, Panama Boquete, and Gravitas Blend Vintage 2022. And this Galapagos La Tortuga.
Galapagos coffee has the special distinction of being the first ever coffee to be branded with the “Star R” Reserve logo. Last year’s Galapagos coffee card is here, but at times there have been distinct gaps between the years that it is offered. Here is a look at the 2018 Galapagos coffee.
I noticed that previous year’s releases of Galapagos coffee list it as a Roastery exclusive coffee, but oddly I don’t see that for this year. I would be surprised to see a wide offering of this Galapagos coffee.
