Brazil Fazenda California
New on the scoop bar at the Roastery (as of early April) is the Brazil Fazenda California coffee. I believe it's slated to arrive in Reserve Starbucks locations everywhere (in the US and Canada) in May 2016.
I managed to get a picture of the burlap sack it comes in, as the green coffee sat waiting to be loaded into the Green Coffee Loading Pit. And then one evening I was there and one of the Roasters was roasting a batch of it and demonstrated what this coffee looks like from green coffee to fully roasted. The roaster pulled out samples of the coffee at various intervals to demonstrate the changes in the coffee during the roasting process.
I always love to be able to see a little extra - like the burlap sacks and green coffee. Hope you enjoy it too!
This coffee launched in Starbucks Reserves stores everywhere (in North America) on May 17, 2016.
