Pantheon Blend No. 1
Starbucks introduced this coffee with the opening of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room, on December 4, 2014, in Seattle.
Exclusive to the Reserve Roastery, this coffee was envisioned as “the Anniversary Blend” of the Roastery, meaning that it was created to celebrate the opening of the Roastery. It was a limited availability coffee. During the months of December, and most of January 2015, one could purchase Pantheon Blend No. 1 from the Roastery’s scoop bar. (The scoop bar is the area of the store where whole bean coffee is hand-scooped from bins and sold to customers).
Starbucks Pantheon Blend has three components: Colombia El Penol, West Java Preanger, and Guatemala Antigua Santa Clara Acetenango. Pantheon Blend itself is a complex, smooth, low acidity, rich cup of coffee. It pairs nicely with darker chocolates, hints of lemon and orange, and brown sugar notes.
For those of you who are using this site to track you Reserve card collection, there are two versions of the Pantheon Blend No. 1 card. The differences in the two cards is in the description of the Colombian coffees. Click here for the other version of this card.
