Papua New Guinea Moanti - 2023
On May 9, 2023, Starbucks launched Papua New Guinea Moanti at the Seattle Reserve Roastery, other Roastery locations, and select Starbucks stores in North America. This is a returning favorite: Last year’s Papua New Guinea Moanti used the same front artwork, but as always, the backside of the card is updated to reflect the new tasting notes for this year’s offering. The coffee card has a “single origin” stamp on it, which somehow does not show up on my scan attached below.
Last year’s coffee was described as “Sandalwood aromas with notes of cocoa nibs, hints of thyme and a syrupy-sweet finish.”
The 2023 tasting description says, “Delicate and smooth with notes of toasted hazelnut, milk chocolate and molasses.”
