Rwanda Hingakawa - March 2019
This new Rwanda Hingakawa doesn’t fit neatly into any category on this website. At the Starbucks annual meeting of shareholders, held on March 20, 2019, in Seattle, this coffee was available tasting. Shareholders had the opportunity to enjoy some free coffee and get a card that goes with it. This coffee is not available at the Roastery, nor in any Starbucks stores in the United States.
A friend of mine went to the annual meeting and snagged a card for me. (I had wanted to go to the meeting but ended up with work obligations such that I couldn’t go.).
I assume that this particular coffee is being released somewhere internationally. So it is very likely that the card itself is not rare, rather it is exclusive to another Starbucks market, such as China Asia Pacific market.
